Muirhouse Medical Group

Welcome to our surgery website where we hope you will quickly benefit from a user friendly layout and a wealth of information about our healthcare services. Find out when we’re open and what to do when we’re not, all from the comfort of your own home.

Access

We have modern purpose-built premises with wheelchair access, a bike and pram store and a neighbouring car park. The practice also has an inductive loop system for patients with hearing difficulties.

Change of details

It is vital that we have up-to-date contact details for all of our patients.  Please let us know of any changes to your contact details.  You can do this by clicking on the link below, phoning or asking at reception for a change of details form.  If you move away from our catchment area you will be asked to register with another surgery nearer to your new address.

Prescription Requests

Our repeat prescription ordering system is called Vision Online.  It is linked to your medical record and you will be able to select the medicine(s) you need from a list.  To use this new system you need to come to the surgery with one form of photographic ID to register.  This ID check is necessary to ensure that no-one else can access your medical information.  If you have any questions about the new system please ask at reception.

To order your prescription click on the link below.

Comments and Suggestions

We are introducing a new comments and suggestions form for patients to complete.  This is not for medical matters or complaints but is a way for you to let us know of any problem you have experienced, or a suggestion to improve our services - or, indeed, praise for our hard-working staff.  Copies are available in the waiting room, which you can complete and hand in, or you can fill it in online by going to our Contact Us page.
