Comments & Suggestions

We are interested in any suggestions or comments you have about the services we provide at Muirhouse Medical Group. To make a comment or suggestion click here or fill in a suggestions form when you are next at the surgery.

Please only use these forms for comments about the Practice, and suggestions as to how we can improve our service to you. Medical matters, appointment requests and formal complaints cannot be dealt with on this form.

Complaints

We make every effort to give the best possible service to everyone who attends our practice. However, we are aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly and amicably as possible.

If you do wish to make a complaint you can speak to any member of our staff. Complaints can be taken face to face, by email or telephone, or you can fill in one of our complaints forms. If you are complaining on behalf of another patient we will need their permission to disucss the complaint with you, and if you wish someone else to complain on your behalf you will need to give written authority for us to disclose any confidential information to them.

We do our best to investigate complaints thoroughly and quickly. If we can, we will try and resolve your complaint within 5 working days. If we can't do that, or if you are not happy with our resolution, we will try and resolve within a further 20 working days.

When making a complaint please try and tell us as much as possible:

  • What happened and when
  • Who was involved
  • How you would like matters resolved
