We have a counsellor, Shane Buckeridge, who works at the practice on Thursdays and Fridays. We also have two trainee counsellors, who work under his supervision.
Referrals to the counselling service are done through your GP.
We have 2 GP Link Workers, Carol Hanning and Flora Ranachan, working in the surgery. They are able to have longer appointments with you if you are needing help and support from another organisation. There are many groups operating in this area that can give you help and support, but it’s sometimes not easy to find out about them, or to take the first steps towards seeking help. Carol and Flora will help you find the groups that could help you.
Please ask a Doctor, Nurse or reception about being referred to them.
