We are currently sending all prescriptions to your chosen pharmacy. Please allow 3 working days before going to the pharmacy for your medicines.
You can order repeat prescriptions in several different ways:
email your request to : Prescriptions.MMG@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk
Please make sure you include your name and date of birth, which medicines you are requesting and which Pharmacy you would like to collect your prescription from. We won’t reply to your email but will send your prescription to your chosen pharmacy.
Phone the surgery on 0131 202 4444
We will ask you your name and date of birth, the medication you would like and which Pharmacy you would like to collect your prescription from.
To protect our patients and staff we are closed to patients coming in to the surgery. You can post a request for a repeat prescription in the box by the side door.
You can return the right-hand half of a previous prescription for the required medications, or post a handwritten request, with the required items clearly marked. Please also write which pharmacy you would like to collect your prescription from. Post your request into the box at the side of the surgery.
You can post your prescription slip or written request to us at the Practice. You can include a stamped addressed envelope for return by post or let us know which Pharmacy you would like us to send it to. (Please allow extra time for any possible delays with the postal service).
